For Length: Place the meter-rod along one side of the room, mark the end, shift the rod, and repeat until you reach the opposite wall. Count how many rods fit and multiply by 1 meter.

For Breadth: Place the rod across the width of the room and repeat the process. Count the number of rods and multiply by 1 meter.
This will give you the total length and breadth of the classroom.
